A recent orientation session helped volunteers understand the organization's mission, program priorities and standards for respectful community service. The session emphasized listening first, protecting dignity, communicating clearly and avoiding promises that cannot be responsibly delivered.
Volunteers were introduced to the main program areas: women's empowerment and literacy support, child wellbeing and nutrition awareness, community outreach, rural support and conservation awareness. They also discussed how to document attendance, collect feedback, identify urgent concerns and refer questions to program coordinators. These simple practices help the organization remain organized and accountable as activities expand.
